VANNI’S PALDEAN ADVENTURE: CONCLUSION 💖

After many months of toil (and procrastinating and distractions) I’ve made it through the main story of Pokemon Violet and I wanna show how my babies have grown. (long post warning sorry)

Here’s Isla Dawn, my sort of wild card spot. I picked her up pretty late in my journey which is why she has the 6th spot. She was my compromise of between something defensive and something I thought was cute… and honestly she struggled and still does now in post game. Most she does is set up a screen then get two shot by super effective moves. But she’s pretty and took me a week to get.

ScalieArthur (Arthur for short) is my baby, hatched from an egg. Raising him from lvl 1 while also trying to EV train him in HP (because I was desperate for some bulk on anyone) was genuinely worth it, but changing his terra type to normal was not. Genuinely don’t remember my reasoning, I just like the big ass gem head. But he was a late game powerhouse I really liked using (mainly from the ice typing)

Miss Roberta, one of many name changes. And a special place in my heart as my first shiny in Violet. She never disappointed me in battle, but of all of my team, I gave her the least amount of battle time out of fear she would just get bulldozed.. but she never actually did. Every battle she came out, she dominated. Didn’t give her enough credit, really.

Jellyway… an interesting case. Youll see the OT is Jeff. Jellyway was a surprise gift from my boyfriend, but came at a sad time when I had already had a Clodsire leveled up pretty high (Puddingway, for those who remember.) Jellyway was always the highest leveled on the team and was definitely one of the more frequently used on the team (Ground types are just sadly very useful despite me not liking them much.) But Jellyway was a pleasure to have and you cannot go wrong with toxic spikes!

My sleepy buddy Ardbert, I would die for him. I put in so much work making his terratype fairy and all that work just made me love him even more. I really got in my head when I would terraform him like “oh my opponent definitely thinks this is just a fire tera… but they’re WRONG!” It was also a makeshift way to get a fairy type because theyre just so good, ugh.

And finally, we have the star- Sylvando! Another victim of a name change (once named Riqardo, Sylvando was just way better with how much I like DQXI) he still was my true powerhouse. But unlike Roberta, I put Sylvando through the ringer and he paid the price. He was absolutely the team member who got taken down the most. But he was also the one who dominated the hardest. He was the one who took down Nemona all those times, defeated Geeta's ace, and finished off the true final boss- all in one fell swoop. But he was defeated by Clavell's Meowscarada and Arven's Mabosstiff. Using Sylvando was like a dance, when things go right and all we hit all our moves, it feels like the best feeling in the world, but even one misstep can send us tumbling off the stage like fools.

can't wait to see what's in store for me and my babies in the post game and DLC! And what new friends we'll make along the way.

He remembered the story his dad’s had told him and his sister long ago. They’d been best friends, out on an adventure when a wild pokemon attacked. The pokemon had been aiming for Papa, but Dad took the blow instead, getting pretty injured in the process. Papa took care of Dad until he was better and had ended up confessing his love to him in the process; even though the wound wasn’t life threatening, he didn’t want to have any regrets, just in case. 

His sister had been enamored with the story. “It’s like a fairy tale!” she’d exclaimed, even though it was the tenth time they’d heard it already. Alex, on the other hand, hadn’t given it much thought. It was romantic, sure, but that wasn’t his top priority when he was younger. He wanted to catch and train pokemon so he could eventually take on every gym and Elite Four member in the world. Did he want to be champion of every region? No, that was too much work. He just wanted to go out and prove that he and his pokemon were strong enough to take on the world.

And then they’d moved to Paldea and he’d met Arven. Had his goal changed? No, of course not. But now there was someone extra in his life. Someone worth protecting, just like Dad had done with Papa. Although, he doubted they’d be very proud of him right now. For protecting someone? They’d be very proud. For throwing himself in front of a raging Garchomp instead of using his pokemon? Not so proud. But it had been aiming for Arven and he wasn’t just going to stand around doing nothing. 

He’d protect Arven and his pokemon. Thankfully the wound wasn’t life threatening, but he was losing quite a lot of blood. Arven was by his side immediately; thankfully the Garchomp seemed to have settled enough to walk away after the attack. He could feel his fingers searching his pulse points, checking for his heartbeat. It was there, but weaker than normal. A heavier weight was suddenly felt on his chest - above his heart. He assumed it was Arven, still checking. 

His vision was blurry once he had enough energy to open his eyes, but he could still make out his outline. There were words being said, but his mind was still reeling from the shock of the attack for him to comprehend much of it. Reaching a hand out, he gently patted Arven’s head, mustering the best smile he could in his situation. “‘m okay… glad you’re… safe…” He wanted to say more, to reassure Arven that he’d survive this, but he was exhausted. He’d check on him again once he woke up, but for now he just wanted to drift off to sleep.

ran around the school some more and mer more of the staff. especially the nurse, who i have a small crush on...

more of my pokemon evolved. i absolutely adore dachsbun omg... sweet little baby. light of my life...

defeated another titan! arven is rly growing on me. he tries so hard to pretend he doesn't care but he's rly bad at it lol. definitely becoming a fast favorite.

when he revealed he was looking for these herbs to help heal his pokemon... 🥺 my heart. like, ofc i'm willing to help out a sweet little puppy!!

and finally, went ahead and took out my first team star base. these guys are definitely some interesting characters lol.

Kotone looked over the letter, then looked it over again. Her mind was a buzz with questions about this trip. It sounded like a really good opportunity. Though with how some of her previous trips had turned out, she had developed a healthy dose of skepticism.

The invitation itself didn't give her any immediate red flags though. And if this new pokéball turned out to be a success she would have grown closer to some new Pokémon, but also helped others to the same and that seemed like it was worth it in her opinion.

After some deliberation, she settled on accepting, making a reminder in her Rotom Phone lest she forget by the time the trip comes around.

"Wait... Where even is APCO anyway?" Time to do a bit of research.

Could I maybe get a Hisuian!Reader who came to Paldea through a space time rift? They remember everything, they still have all their old Pokemon, they like to share stories of their adventures (anything from taking on Volo to "Oh yeah, I caught this alpha garchomp after a half-hour standoff, here's her gigaton ball lol."), they've got little scars here and there from accidentally standing too close to Pokemon attacks or taking fall damage, and they give descendants of their Hisuian Pokemon to their blueberry friends (BBE4, Carmine, and Kieran) during their trades. To make things even more interesting, I wonder what that reader would think about bloodmoon ursaluna, Perrin, and modern Sinnoh - seeing their dear friend Adaman in someone alive today and seeing just how much things have changed over the years

The PLA fixation is real so YESSSIR I finally got around to this one. I separated the headcanons by region and their respective characters

Paldea (Arven, Penny, Nemona)

After finishing your mission in Hisui, you decided to confront Arceus, being satisfied with everything you've done for the Survey Corps and the good people of Jubilife Village.

You fully finished the pokedex, fulfilling Professor Laventon's dreams, and were ready to return home.

After some reluctance, Arceus agreed and ensured you wouldn't lose any of your memories, as you didn't want all your feats in Hisui become lost to history.

It warned you that you'll never get to see Rei/Akari, Professor Laventon, the Wardens...or anyone else ever again.

But you've said your goodbyes and were ready to go back.

One warp through a space-time rift later, you were dropped off in Paldea-

Right where Arven, Penny, and Nemona were discussing whether to call off the search for you or not.

As it turns out, you've been missing for months, not long after the Area Zero adventure, and so it's a rather tearful reunion when they realize the person in the old fashioned clothing was you.

You looked tired, scarred, battle-hardened...and yet you smiled as you joked about being "back from the past".

Since then, easing back into modern life was..trickier than you expected.

You still had the habit of crafting pokeballs and potions as you were taught, rather than spend money buying them in bulk (even though you had boatloads because of your champion status).

You tried getting the trio to follow your directions, but they kept fumbling with the tumblestones and didn't know where to attach the iron chunks that made up the clasps.

When you start talking about feather, wing, leaden, and gigaton pokeballs they stare at you in confusion until you realize "oh shit those are outdated".

Nemona is VERY curious about the gigaton ball, however, and so you show it to her--revealing your Alpha Garchomp branded with the "Former Alpha" mark. She got to keep her height.

"Oh yeah, she was a real feisty one. We had a half-hour standoff on a slippery ice mountain slope but I showed her who's boss haha." You laugh as you share the story of how you encountered and tamed her.

Your fellow champion now thinks you're 10x cooler for actually facing a Pokémon head-on....while poor Arven and Penny are shook(TM) and wondered how you made it back alive.

Especially when they discover your scars are from falling and vicious Pokemon attacks

Introducing your Hisuian starter to your Paldean starter was...a little awkward. One recently became a champion's Pokémon and the other faced Giratina itself.

But they eventually shake hands and become besties, becoming members of your party whenever you wanna battle Arven, Penny, or Nemona again.

You keep accidentally calling out agile/strong style in your commands (ie "Avalugg, make an Agile Avalanche!"), but your Pokémon like to pretend they still know them.

Kitakami (Perrin & Bloodmoon Ursaluna)

Returning to Kitakami felt most familiar..and quite comforting considering how traditional everything is.

Festival of the Masks came back around, and while you didn't get to spend it with Kieran nor Carmine this time...you did wind up spending it with somebody else...

Perrin, who you were drawn to after seeing her Hisuian Growlithe getting into trouble with an Arbok and trying to stand up for itself.

Reminds you of a certain late lord's son..

She expresses her thanks for rescuing her buddy, and mentions how you got there "right on time".

You just look into her eyes and see Adaman: the Diamond Clan leader, the kind man who gave you the celestica flute and came to your aid when you got exiled from the village.

He may be gone now, but time didn't allow him to be forgotten.

Because he lives on in somebody else.

Perrin gets concerned when she sees how emotional you're getting, but you just wipe your eyes and say she just reminds you of an "old friend".

When you show her your other Hisuian Pokémon, she's THRILLED and wants to take all of their pictures, delighted to have proof that these creatures existed.

That leads her to ask how you acquired them, and you start talking about your adventures in the very region she's been studying...including the fact you met her ancestor who used to worship Dialga and had an easygoing attitude like her.

Girl is taking notes fr.

Together you seek out the "Bloodmoon Beast", only to discover that it was an Ursaluna who travelled alllll the way to Kitakami from Hisui, the environment causing it to change appearances and abilities.

You were fascinated, wondering what Lord Ursaluna or Calaba would think of him, and made him a member of your team after quelling his rage.

While going on more casual photoshoots with Perrin, you ask her about what Sinnoh is like now or if anyone there knew about Hisui.

She mentions how the elderly folk talk of it, and how the subway battle system was being run by one conductor due to the other going missing...

You find yourself holding your breath---until she says "oh but apparently he came back like yesterday" and you were SO relieved.

'Ingo made it back home, too. Thank you Arceus.'

She plans to invite you to Sinnoh someday, seeing as you're so curious about what it all looks like now.

BB Academy (BBE4, Carmine, & Kieran)

When you got to study abroad at BB Academy, you...sorta forgot all the beef you had with Kieran until you saw him berating a student out in the terarium.

A year later, you're Paldea's champion AND the one who saved Hisui, but you couldn't exactly tell him the latter.

But now you understood why everyone back then calling you a "hero" made you a little uncomfortable.

Ogerpon (who was worried sick about where you've gone all this time), was SO happy to see you were back and got to meet your Hisuian Lilligant. Two plant gals just vibing together.

You find a Kleavor in the canyon biome and become a bit sentimental, happy to see a descendant of the Lord of the Woods had survived to this very day.

He must've known you were the one who helped his ancestor (albeit not without receiving some scars from flying wood chips), as he bowed and began walking alongside you, loyal to a tee.

Least to say, he became a valuable ally when you finally battled Kieran in the championship.

He sees that you've definitely changed a lot, too. You look tougher and he was concerned about where that scar across your eye came from....

But he's still obsessed with winning, and his attitude when talking about Terapagos afterwards reminds you of...well...Volo.

It's such an extreme comparison, and you hate how your brain immediately jumped to that considering that was a legitimate monster of a man who betrayed you.

Yet it feels like such a similar situation when Kieran pits the turtle against you in the Underdepths, obsessed with power and wanting nothing more than to be recognized as "worthy".

At least he wasn't planning on ending the world, just yours.

After you both reconcile, you spill the beans about where you've gone for the past year, expecting him to laugh or shun you again for keeping such a big secret from him.

Instead..he has this star-eyed look and wanted to know MORE.

So during your next visit to Kitakami, you tell him and Carmine some stories of your Hisuian adventures, showing off Kleavor and your Alpha Garchomp.

Seeing that you still liked to make authentic pokeballs and potions made Kieran appreciate you a lot more. Kitakami used to have a lot of those apricorns, tumblestones, and leeks before everything became mass-produced.

Like him, you really became out-of-touch with today's technology, so while he's learning it, you're re-learning it along with him.

Eventually you tell those same stories to the BB E4, who are all just as shocked, amazed, and bewildered as the twins were.

And when they all came to offer up a trade, you knew what to do:

For Drayton, you gave him a Goomy, insisting that he trains it fully, not wanting to spoil the "surprise".

As lazy as he is, he does so and is stunned when Sliggoo is revealed to be chilling in its own shell, and Goodra had its whole shell on its tail, capable of withdrawing into it anytime

Ngl it makes him wish he had his own shell to withdraw into just to escape situations.

For someone like Kieran who likes old-fashioned stuff, you figured a Hisuian Voltorb would suit him best.

Its appearance reminds you of the olden ways pokeballs were made, and he got the hang of crafting a few himself after a little trial and error!

He gets nervous about it exploding like Kantonian Voltorbs at the slightest touch, but is happy to find out it's super friendly and discharges just to spook humans.

As for Carmine, the sharpness in her golden eyes reminds you of a certain ghost type's...and thus you believed giving her a Hisuian Zorua was ideal. You had a feeling she'd love its evolved form.

When she does evolve it, she's stunned that it has reddish highlights like she does, jokingly asking if this is her in "another life".

Least to say, she loves it indeed.

While you were adamant about giving Amarys your Kleavor, you ended up trading her a Scyther and give her a black augurite afterwards, explaining how it's the secret to its other evolution.

She mentioned deposits of that mineral existing within the canyon biome, but it couldn't actually evolve the surrounding Scyther population due to being simulated.

But thanks to you, she gets to witness that in-action because you held onto an authentic piece of it, and she gives you her thanks.

As for Crispin, well, you believed a Hisuian Growlithe was perfect for him. It was energetic, loyal, and full of fire..just like him.

He got teary-eyed at the story you told of the late Lord Arcanine, his son, how you quelled his frenzy, etc..and feels inspired to train the pup you've given him into something incredible.

One thing Kantonian and Hisuian Arcanines have in common? They love spicy foods.

For Lacey, you trade her a Hisuian-born Petili, encouraging her to use the sun stone right away.

She does and is delighted to see Lilligant as such a graceful dancer..who really packs a punch when it counts!

She'll definitely doll her up and ensure she knew Charm (the only fairy move Hisuian Lilligant could know, alas).

Scarlet x Violet

Like with Sword x Shield, I decided to share the highlights from Ansy & Ikrit’s Paldean adventure, Scarlet x Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero! If you’d like to see the whole story, please visit my Instagram at parasol_lady_ansy 🌧️

While I did enjoy Scarlet & the DLC’s (going back to Unova in Blueberry Academy was a treat!), I didn’t like Scarlet nearly as much as I like (LOVE!) Sword, so this was a much shorter series, mostly focusing on the Indigo Disk DLC.

Important headcanons for this story: Ansy & Ikrit ended up on parallel timelines when they came to Paldea - Ansy was on the Scarlet timeline (Naranja Academy, Koraidon) while Ikrit was on Violet timeline (Uva Academy, Miraidon). They could still communicate across spacetime via their Rotom phones & Union Circle (spots where the timelines blur & they can meet up).

Being around all these kids really brought up Ansy’s maternal instincts, as she “adopted” Penny & Arven lol (she would still check on how they’re doing).

Professor Sada / Turo similarly fell into the parallel timeline years ago, though each concluded the other “left” following an incident with the Time Machine (the reason the timeline split in the first place). These two timelines converged in the endgame climax, & the Paldea that exists now is a combination of the two. The academies became Uva-Naranja Academy, & everyone has a combination of memories from the two timelines.

Made a whole bunch of characters for my Fayre Region setting! A lot of these have been planned for ages. Some are new!

I'll write a bit with each close up! So long post... beware!

Some names may change! Gelli might be swapped out for another fairy type... but we'll see.

Team Tera! A paldean Tinkatuff finds herself in the Fayre Region after hearing about the Diamond Domain next to one of the towns. She wants to investigate it, in search of Terastal crystals to see if they can be found outside of Paldea, a quest given to her by a researcher friend. She doesn't have permission to access the Domain... so she must work up in the Guild ranks to prove her worthiness!

She teams up with Gelli, a sweet, shy little Snorunt who's always been too scared to join the guild alone. She is a remake of an old Snorunt OC I never used.

Team Ore. Originally I was gonna pair up Tinkatuff with the Sableye, but after a recent Forretress post, I wanted to make one an OC, cos I love Forretress!!! They're part of the guild too, but they're not very good... they're still very low rank. A silly duo causing some mischief. Jerry is actively seen trying to sneak into the Diamond Domain to eat their diamonds and gems... Walnut on the other hand is a rather silly fella.

Skippy is a simple Skiploom, enjoying the sunny days and exploring the region to his hearts content. Good friend of Bink's!

Arrian is a Falinks who lost his platoon many years ago in a terrible battle... they all left him and got jobs elsewhere!!!! He's a bad captain, and is overly dramatic about losing his platoon. "Oh... how could they leave me so soon... in this cold, cold world... choosing to earn minimum wage instead of ADVENTURE...!" Think Meta Knight meets Zote lmao.

The two staff at a little cafe in the town! I have yet to name the town... I'm bad with names.

Delicia is the owner! Specializing in coffee, tea and biscuits. Galarian style... not Unovan biscuits!!! Sweet lady who's an expert at her craft.

And then Lorette! A shy, kind shiny Dolliv who both acts as a waitress in the cafe, as well as dealing with the savory options. She has a crush on Bink... but after learning of Himemi, she does her best to put her feelings aside to try and help wherever she can. Another good friend of Binks.

This strange figure appeared shortly after Ultra Wormholes started opening up around the region. She does not speak, her actions seem... not her own. While she's caused some havoc and fear through the region, she's more scared of you!

Sleepy switches up her team a lot further on but these are her main paldean babies from her treasure hunt 🫶

There's not much of a fixed team or theme. She went for the cute ones for her paldean adventure and started opening up more as she got further in the treasure hunt.

Her starter was a female sprigatito named Fiscalía that never got evolved since she's cuter being tiny.

Togepi was received by a surprise trade as a Cleffa. With the luck of being able to give her a nickname 💖

A shiny bounsweet was her first epic find during union circle times on the first few routes of her adventure, got named Ciruela

Tinkaton was bred by Sleepy on her first try to pass down egg moves. She was nicknamed Girlboss.

Skeledirge was surprised traded to Sleepy as a breeding reject baby. She was named Zeze.

And last one, Cozy. A shiny female altaria caught as a swablu in an extremely lucky find.

As for the current team she swaps a lot but consistently keeps Orgerpon, and Togepi.

Some of her frequent off topic picks are Kingambit, Sandy Shocks, Meowscarada, Milotic and Kieran's Hydrapple

I finally finished the dex!!! and with it, got the shiny charm 💅🏼

and to celebrate…

finally went and hunted lechonk 😭😭😭 I’ve been wanting one for so long. and the gag is I find him (his name is Bacon Bit) literally 30 seconds into the outbreak. but the problem is, I wanted a female Oinkologne :(

so I went and found another one! This is Piggie James, and she is actually larger than Bacon Bit!

and she is very sleepy, especially after a walk in Mesagoza.

♡ Originally from a small island in the North Paldean Sea. Homeschooled until her family moved to mainland Paldea where she started her public education at Uva Academy.

♡ Socially awkward, clumsy and struggles with organisation. Not the best with words but a fantasic listener. Booksmart and tends to be a people pleaser to a fault.

♡ Despite her awkwardness, is obliviously confident. Confessed her feelings and asked Arven to be her boyfriend after Area Zero, believing it was just a one way crush. Definitely was not and have been dating since.

♡ Was extremely overwhelmed starting school with no clue what direction she wanted her live to go in. After the events of Area Zero and collecting Herba Mystica, realised she wanted to become a pharmaceutical scientist with the goal of making Herba Mystica more wildly available in a medicinal format for people and their pokémon. Cites Director Clavell and Jacq as her biggest inspirations.

♡ Still considers Carmine, Kieran and the former BB League members some of her closest friends. The groups enjoy traveling together between Paldea, Kitakami and Unova together.

♡ Graduated with distinctions in all classes but dreams of making a name for herself outside her wealthy family. Currently works fulltime at Uva Acadmeny as a battle studies teacher with the end goal of becoming Champion.

♡ Lives in a high rise apartment in the center of Mesagoza overlooking the battle court. Absolutely loves the lively and fast paced energy of the city.

♡ Despite being extremely outgoing, struggles with making and maintaining friendships. Holds Juliana extremely close to her heart as she believes she was the first person to ever really 'get her'. First came out to Juliana after the groups adventure to Area Zero. Currently crushing on Carmine.

♡ Often mistaken for being a 'tomboy' but has quite alot of interest in typically 'feminine' things but has trouble connecting and expressing this part of her. Particularly likes plushies, collecting perfume and playing piano in which she is extremely gifted.

♡ Detail oriented and enjoys organisation. Wakes up at 5:30 every morning and runs from Mesagoza to Levincia no matter what she did the previous night.

♡ Only child of the late Professor Turo. Originally withdrawn and standoffish; after learning of his fathers passing, became extremely family & friend focused. Would love to have his own family in the future. Considers Clavell a second father.

♡ Originally specialised in traditional savoury Paldean dishes but developed a love for baking after making Juliana macarons for their first Valentines Day together.

♡ After graduation, worked as a dish hand in a small bar in Porto Marinada. Worked his way up to line cook while occasionally doing pokémon walking and sitting on the side. Currently the manager of the new Mesagoza Patisserie Soapberry location. Spends his income on renovating the lighthouse where he lives with Juliana, Mabosstiff and Miraidon.

♡ Prized possessions include his fathers old lab coat and journals recovered from the Zero Lab. Gifted an oddly familar version of the presumably lost Violet Book by Juliana after her return from stuyding at Blueberry Academy which he keeps in his nightstand.

♡ Originally from Hulbury, Galar. Daughter of former Galar champion, Peony. Currently lives in an old industrial loft with Atticus and Giacamo in downtown Mesagoza. Loves city life but misses the small beachtown vibes of her hometown. While developing a closer relationship with her dad after gradution, has no intentions of moving back home to Galar.

♡ Prefers to keep her circle small but cares deeply for her friends to a point of getting herself in bad situations to help them. Still learning how to put herself first in certain sitations with help and advice from Arven.

♡ Works full time for the Pokémon League doing admin work. Does occasional hairdressing on the side mostly for friends and mutuals. Specialises in bleaching and alternative cuts and colours. Originally a brunette - wouldn’t be caught dead with grown out roots.

♡ Has a terrible diet consisting mostly of cup ramen, sushi and whatever the cheapest energy drink is. Sleeps around 4 hours each night after spending her after work hours gaming online with Kieran; excluding Wednesdays where she plays Magic the Gathering with Team Star.

♡ Homebody who loves reading + collecting manga and crafts; particularly sewing and knitting after being taught by Attitcus.

What…?

They’d been out here for hours. Alex had dragged Arven out of bed early that morning, wanting to get a head start on their shiny hunt. He was determined to find a shiny Applin - for a very specific, very secret reason - and Arven had agreed to help him. It didn’t take much to get him to agree to go out with him on these silly hunts, so long as he stayed away from Area Zero. 

The sun was starting to set when he finally met back up with him near the entrance of Tagtree Thicket. Alex wouldn’t mind making camp and staying out here all night to continue the search, but he didn’t want to assume Arven would be of the same mind. He’d decided to ask after they had dinner - which Arven was in charge of, after the disastrous first meal Alex had made for him. It was a fond memory, but he was sure he’d scarred Arven that day. 

They’d just finished eating and the night was quiet, save for the few sounds of the Pokemon around them and the fire burning in front of them. His question was all but forgotten once he heard Arven speak. Silence blanketed them for a few moments as he tried to process what was just said to him. It didn’t take him too long to recover, though.

Getting up from where he was seated, he then moved around the fire until he could sit right next to Arven, hip to hip. Reaching out, he gently took his hand in his own, intertwining their fingers. “You’re the one making it easy for me to believe in you. Your compassion… your love and loyalty for your pokemon and the people around you… how thoughtful you are… how much you’re willing to sacrifice…”

A pause, as he tried to keep his emotions at bay and his voice steady. “You sell yourself too short, Arven. Honestly, there’s no one in this world I would trust, respect, and believe in more than you. Not after everything you’ve done for me. I mean… hell, there’s nobody else in the whole of Paldea who would suffer a full week in Tagtree Thicket during the heat of summer just for me and my whimsy.”

Another pause. He’d never been good at picking and choosing the right words to say when it really counted. It felt like he wasn’t getting his point across clearly enough and it was frustrating. “Look, what I’m trying to say is that you’re awesome. And you shouldn’t let anyone - including yourself - tell you otherwise! I’m sure Mabosstiff would agree with me one hundred percent!”

ofc i had to go with my dear weed cat. it is so incredibly cute in-game, i can't get enough. i love you, weed cat.

my trainer-self (trainer-sona?) is also less-than-enthused about the prospect of schoolwork...

i've made a few sandwiches so far, some more... questionable than others lol

i got a couple of badges from two of the routes so far. i really love the pics that go with them~

also, arven's been growing on me. he can be such a cute little dork sometimes lol.
